Intentional Thanksgiving

BLESSED!

Hey Beautiful Soul
Take a PAUSE and PRAISE the LORD.
HALLELUJAH!

Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Ps 121:4 NKJV

REFLECTION :
I believe that it is quite difficult to really appreciate God when you are not preview to who He has made you. The revelation about who we are informs us about our spiritual blessings. Material blessings are wonderful but it cannot be compared to the spiritual blessings. They are almost of no value without the spiritual blessings. If only we really have an encounter with who God has made us; we will not keep back our praise and thanksgiving. Intentional Thanksgiving requires a revelational perspective of who God is, who He has made us, what He has done for us and what He's doing for us. There are so many spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

Personally, when things try to weigh me down unnecessarily, I receive an indication that I'm losing sight of who I am in Christ. I have notes of who God says I am, His promises, expectations and prophecies concerning my life. I have them all over my room, my phone and my journals. Since we can easily get distracted by the changing scenes of life; this has been my personal remedy over the years. I have reminders on my phone to keep me in remembrance from time to time. When they pop up, they just reassure me and I find myself smiling most of the time when I see them. As time goes on, it becomes your reality and daily talk even without the reminders.

Our text above reassures us. It starts with "Behold"– meaning, it is reaffirming what has been said already. The people of Israel in context are God's chosen people and people He holds in high esteem. This further reminds us of who God is and how valuable we are to Him. It emphasizes that the promises and prophecies concerning us are all real. Unless we comprehend them from God's perspective; we might not be able appreciate them in our lives. I desire earnestly in my heart that we will have an encounter with our spiritual heritage. Amen.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE :
Who are you in Christ? Do you believe and appreciate it? Are you living it?
Do you believe that you are indeed God's treasure?
Can you testify of God's promises in your life?

I'll just like to reassure you today of who you truly are. These are some reminders I personally have to keep me going. If you don't mind, take a moment to say them to yourself over and over. You can also write them for your personal use.

AFFIRMATION :
Hey Beautiful Soul,
You are the beloved of the most high God.
You are blessed and highly favored.
You are loved and chosen.
A royal priesthood.
A Child of God.
A bossom friend of Jesus.
A branch of the true vine and a bearer of the Christ life.
You are justified and redeemed.
You are free and free indeed; free from sin and shame.
You have eternal life.
You are accepted, forgiven and restored.
You are a joint heir with Christ Jesus.
You are a Saint of God.
A temple of the Holy ghost.
Hallelujah.. Hallelujah.. Hallelujah

Beloved.. That is who you are. And there's so much more...

I am joined to the Lord and I am one spirit with Him.
I have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
God leads me in the triumph and knowledge of Christ.
The hardening of my mind and heart has been removed in Christ.
Because I am a new creature in Christ and I have the mind of Christ. All things have passed away, behold all things are new. It's no longer I that live but Christ. Hallelujah!
I am victorious! The resurrected King has resurrected me. I rule and reign with Christ.
I have become the righteousness of God in Christ.
I have been made one with all who are in Christ Jesus.
No longer slaves, I have been set free in Christ.
I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. Hallelujah!
I am chosen, holy, and blameless before God.
I have been predestined by God to enjoy a godly inheritance. Hallelujah!

What a blessing! How do you feel? I personally feel so confident and encouraged whenever I keep repeating these to myself.
All through the day, I'll like you to keep reminding yourself of who you are. Rejoice and please don't keep back your praise.

INTENTIONAL THANKSGIVING :
