DEEP ISSUES

When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” “Here I am!” Moses replied. “Do not come any closer,” the Lord warned. “Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground. Exodus 3:4‭-‬5 NLT

Pain of the past.

Just like Moses we all have a past. A past we try to forget. Something that brings back memories we do not want to relive.
In our attempt to become, we might have encountered issues that have bruised us. The problems we tried to solve might have become a problem for us or a cross to carry through out our entire lives.

God tried to get the attention of Moses to introduce himself (God) to Moses. In the process He reintroduced who Moses truly was to Moses. He went ahead to show him his calling, his assignment and his purpose.
Even though Moses had questions on his heart and in his mind; —God reaffirmed him. He assured him that He was with him. He gave him a sign, a strategy, a plan and a confirmation.

Deep in the wilderness;- in isolation and away from the noise. God called Moses by name. Moses was standing with God on a holy ground but he was consumed and caught up by the wonder. God was with him right there but he did not know. God then created an awareness in the soul of Moses to prepare him for the divine mandate ahead. He chose him and qualified him amidst all he had done in his past. The past must have brought Moses pain, guilt and fears but God looked beyond them and sought after his inherent nature; who he has called him to truly be.

I don't know what you are going through or the deep issues you personally have but I want you to understand that God knows you and sees you beyond what you see. What limits you is not the problem. Your ability to surrender will bring you the healing and testimony that you are desiring. Maybe you think you need courage, healing, a job or to be understood to be okay but it could be that you rather need to know who God is. God is your strength, God is the healer, our constant provision and present help in times of need. He's all the matters. In him we have everything we need.

Our consciousness that He's with us will give us our answers. In His presence, we are filled with His love, joy and peace which will keep us going through all the changing scenes of life.

Gracefully, we have an advantage as believers. Jesus died for us. Now, we can boldly access the throne of Grace without any hindrances. No pain, guilt, shame, darknesses, fears and past experiences have the power over us because there's no condemnation for us in Chirst. In Christ we have the victory. His blood makes us whole and nothing can separate us from the love of God. Hallelujah!

God loves you just as you are and He wants to use you just as you are for His glory. In that pain or struggle lies your victory. You may be looking for an answer but God is also waiting for you to answer to Him because He desires to use you to be an answer to a need in the earth.
