GOD IS LIGHT

Hey Beautiful Soul, Light Up!

FOCAL VERSE:

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”- ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

God is undoubtedly the source of all light. As 2 Corinthians 4:6 says, He has illuminated our hearts, and it’s through His light that we’re able to shine. Without Him, we have no light of our own to reflect to others. We’d be like the moon, relying on the sun’s rays to brighten the night.

As we go through this week, let’s keep these daily Scriptures in mind and strive to reflect God’s light in every step we take.

SOUL PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we are grateful to You for the gift of life. As You are the light of the world, help us reflect this light and stay close to Your word. We acknowledge our imperfections as humans; please forgive us, Merciful Father. Bless all who encounter Your light. Thank You for hearing our prayer, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

As you move through this week, take a moment to remember God’s light in each step you take. His light shines brightly through the darkness, guiding us toward our blessings and purpose. Allow His presence to inspire you and reflect that light to those around you.

READING PLAN:

Monday: Psalm 118:27 – Truly, God is light. Let us remember that the God we worship is the source of the light we experience in our lives, and He is worthy of our praise. Let us sing songs of praise to honor the Creator of the universe.

Tuesday: 1 John 1:5 – Let us strive to turn away from darkness. If we are truly followers of Christ, we should imitate His actions by staying away from wrongdoing, which is what darkness symbolizes.

Wednesday: John 3:21 – To manifest God’s goodness to others, we must first commit to what is true. This will lead us toward the light, making it easier to reveal God’s goodness and glory.

Thursday: Psalm 18:23 – For us to thrive in life, we must rely on God, our sole source of light, to illuminate the darkness we face. Let us place our complete trust in Him.

Friday: Psalm 119:105 – Let us make it a habit to read the Word of God, as it lights up our lives every single day.

This is a GROWcode_ initiative in partnership with Jesus Christ. Stay connected to grow. Much love.
