DAY 2
He is a person, He is God.
Partnership with the Holy Spirit
FOCAL VERSE :
Acts of the Apostles 5:3-4 NLT
Then Peter said, “Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself. The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!”
DEEP REFLECTION :
Hey Beautiful Soul,
Do you know who the Holy Spirit is?
There are many misconceptions about the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others perceive the Holy Spirit as an impersonal power that God makes available to the followers of Christ. What then does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit?
Simply put, the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit is God; the third Person of the Trinity.
In these verses Peter interrogates Ananias intention and action — why he lied to the Holy Spirit. He then added that he, Ananias had “not lied to men but to God.” This is a clear indication that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God.
The Holy Spirit who is our friend is so real than we can imagine.
He is a person, He is God.
SOUL PRAYER :
Dear Holy Spirit, You are God. I praise you because you are holy, and I thank you for dwelling in my heart. Thank you for working in my life. You guided me into salvation, renewed my dead spirit, and you opened my eyes to the Truth. Thank you.
Help me to walk in you, the Spirit of God. Grow good fruit in my life in Jesus name.
Amen
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE :
Begin to relate with the Holy Spirit with the knowledge that He is a unique person and not simply a power or an influence.

Hey Beautiful Soul, we would love to hear from you.
