A Kind Gift.

FOCAL VERSE

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit”.

Romans 15:13 NLT

DEEP REFLECTION :

The subject of kindness is viewed by some as a channel for cultivating “weakened personalities”. They see no reason to be thoughtful to a fellow human in a wicked world.

As Christians and people who yearn to partner with the Holy Spirit, we have a prime example of Christ Jesus offering us a helpmate/partner to help us navigate life. HE offers ways to aid us live our lives in accordance with Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:13 points us to the kind nature of the Holy Spirit. HE fills us up with joy, hope and fans into flames our belief in Christ Jesus. In like manner, let us purpose to fill our respective atmospheres with profitable assistance and harmony.

In a world where many a people yearn to quickly put out half-baked information, are not patient to employ effective cross-checks, care less about societal harmony and to communicate properly; dare to be different. Be a sincere and respectful soul to a neighbour, friend , family or acquaintance. It is okay to encourage, help a colleague, the elderly and pray for a neighbor whenever you can.

Finally, Of what benefit will it be if your actions degrade the existence of your fellow human??? What do you gain by cooking up a tarnishing story about a colleague? What do you gain by breaking up relationships with lies for your own gratification?? It kills no ant to wish all around you well. Dare to be a sweet soul.

Additionally, one cannot also ignore the fact that “evil minded humans” sometimes do use the kind nature of others to their their advantage. Here comes in discernment. The Holy Spirit is all knowing. Therefore, He will guide you if and only if you will enquire of HIM before you engage in anything. With that said, do not be scared to offer a helping hand but never neglect what the Holy Spirit tells you. Be patient when you have not heard a response from HIM.

SOUL PRAYER

Dear God, bless me with a thoughtful heart and aid me to do life as you instructed. I want to know how to be a profitable agent of kindness wherever I find myself today and always. Order my steps and guide me in your ways. In Jesus name. Amen.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE :

Be thoughtful in your words and actions. Show gratitude and say thank you for services rendered you. Engage the usage of positive words. Be kind to family and friends you come across today. Be thoughtful in your words and actions.
