A true friend, who can find?

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
DEEP REFLECTION:
As humans, we all need a voice to keep us going and a shoulder to cry on when needed.
Our souls acknowledge people who love & accept us just as we are. We also appreciate them when they offer a helping hand in times of need. This brings us comfort, peace and stability especially when we receive these gestures from our family, friends and loved ones.
However, we are so limited in capacity. Those who love us deeply do not meet our expectations sometimes irrespective of how dear we are to them and this might not be intentional. That is why our Heavenly Father who is rich in mercy sent His Holy Spirit to be that for us at all times.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. And oh yes! That is the Holy Spirit.
He is that friend like no other.
SOUL PRAYER:
Dear Holy Spirit, I will love for you to be in my life from this day forward. I deeply long for a Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby) in diverse ways. I have realized that I been searching for these in the wrong places. I thereby accept you as my true friend today and forever. Amen
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
Try talking to the Holy Spirit when you really need to talk to a friend today.
