FAITHFUL IN WAITING

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 21:1-7

FOCAL VERSE:

“Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.”‭‭- Genesis‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

Sarah’s journey of waiting was long, but God remained faithful to His promise. She didn’t see the fulfillment immediately, but when the time was right, Isaac was born. This teaches us that God’s promises are always fulfilled in His perfect timing.

In times of waiting, we may feel discouraged or doubt that God’s promises will come to pass. However, we can trust that His faithfulness never wavers, and He is always working for our good. Our waiting seasons are not in vain—they are part of God’s perfect plan for us.

PRAYER POINTS:

Ask God to strengthen your trust in His faithfulness during your waiting seasons.

Pray for patience and perseverance, knowing that God’s timing is always best.

Thank God for His faithfulness in fulfilling His promises.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

Reflect on an area in your life where you are waiting on God. Write down how you can trust in His faithfulness in that situation.

Take a moment today to surrender your waiting to God and rest in His faithfulness.
