INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS

INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 18:16-33

FOCAL VERSE:

“Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”” ‭‭- Genesis‬ ‭18‬:‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

Do you remember how, in school, we often complained when the teacher punished the entire class for the noise caused by a few? In a similar but opposite way, Abraham pleaded with God to spare Sodom because of the righteous ones within it.

Despite being a wealthy and blessed man, he did not focus only on himself—he cared deeply for others and sought God’s mercy on their behalf.

What a heart of compassion!

PRAYER POINTS:

Pray for a heart burdened for others.

 Ask for boldness in intercession.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

Spend extra time interceding for a specific person or situation.

This is a GROWcode_ initiative in partnership with Jesus Christ. Stay connected to grow. Much love.
