MILK & HONEY

May it be your personal dedication to fix your eyes on Jesus as you purposefully embrace your Land of promise in faith.

He has brought us to this place and has given us this land, “a land flowing with milk and honey”;
De 26:9 NKJV

DEEP REFLECTION:
New year; new strategies, new choices, new ideas, new opinions and so on. It is a blessing to see a new chapter of our lives. A lot has happened but what lies ahead of us is far greater. We mostly start the new year hoping for the very best. Some people believe in restrategizing, others believe in sticking to their initial plans with fresh zeal and others are simply indifferent. I personally believe in growth. Therefore, I think the most important outlook from my point of view is to make positive progress.

Everyone has a happily ever after in mind; perhaps, a dream, a plan or a way of life. While we develop and embark on our life journeys, we must remember that our vision is ours to honor. The people in our lives may relate to an extent or share in our ideas based on their personal experiences but they cannot fully comprehend what we envision. Our God-given vision is a place and a destination. It is our land of promise. A land overflowing with milk and honey.

It takes the eyes of faith to be able to identify and step into the land of promise. By sight, the steps into the land of promise might not be seen to be understood. However, by faith we can make visible the unseen realities.

There's so much more to the unseen eye but our focal text makes us understand that our promise is attainable. The tendencies to lose focus cannot be ignored so there is a need to behold the word of promise together with faith. Every land has regulations governing it thus, the land of promise– overflowing with milk and honey is no exception.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE :
What has God said concerning you?
What are your plans and visions? Are they written?
What are the things that easily beset you?

Beautiful Soul, take a pause and reflect on what you believe to be your Land of promise. Make a conscious practice to behold your land of promise as you fix your eyes on Jesus. There is nothing too hard for Him to do. On our own, we cannot make it but with our faith in Christ, all things are possible. Friends and family may fail. You may fail as well but He never fails. If He has said it, He will do. Keep on trusting.

INTENTIONAL THANKSGIVING:
My testimony will be...
"Come and see what the Lord has done. He has given me victory. What no man could do, He has done for me all by Himself."
Hallelujah!
And they will say..
"Indeed your Land of promise is overflowing with milk and honey."
Hallelujah!

AFFIRMATION:
God has a plan with me in mind.
He has given me a charge to keep and a vision to accomplish.
The world may not understand.
My family and friends may not understand.
My flesh may not understand.
Yet, I will not give up.
The vision is mine to honor.
It is not by power,
It is not by might,
It is by the Spirit of the the Living God.
As time goes on,
God will make it plain.
The steps of the righteous are honored and rewarded.
I have a responsibility to work diligently unto God.
The Land seen to be filled with thistles and thorn as well as giants and forces; will be my Land overflowing with milk and honey.
It is possible because I see through the eyes of faith.
Hallelujah!

Praise God for how far He has brought you. Hallelujah.
