SHINING FAITH

Hey Beautiful Soul, Shine With Faith
FOCAL VERSE:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”- John 1:5 NIV
DEEP REFLECTION:
In a world that often feels overwhelmed by darkness, Christ assures us that His light is unconquerable. As children of the Light, we are called to stand firm in faith, no matter how intense the darkness around us may seem. The key is not to let the shadows of fear, doubt, or challenges diminish the light we carry. Just as darkness could not overcome Jesus, it cannot overcome us when we stay close to Him.
Take some time to reflect on how you can stand firm, unshaken, in your faith. Consider practical ways to stay connected to Christ and let His light guide you.
Remember that your light, no matter how small it may feel, has the power to push back the darkness and make a difference.
SOUL PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for being the light that darkness cannot overcome. Help me to stand firm in my faith, trusting in Your strength even when challenges surround me. Let Your light shine brightly in my heart, giving me the courage to face every day with hope and boldness. Amen.
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
This week, pinpoint an area where fear, doubt, or stress has been challenging your faith. Then, list three proactive steps you can take to remain steadfast in God’s light despite the situation.
READING PLAN:
Monday: Psalm 27:1 – Write down any fears or concerns you’re facing. Surrender them to God in prayer and reflect on His promise to be your light and salvation.
Tuesday: John 1:5 – Think about a recent challenge where you felt darkness creeping in. Journal how you can choose to shine through that situation.
Wednesday: 2 Corinthians 4:6 – Reflect on how God’s light has transformed your heart. Write a short prayer of thanksgiving for His work in your life.
Thursday: Colossians 1:13 – Meditate on how God has delivered you from spiritual darkness. What areas of your life still need more light?
Friday: Romans 13:12 – Think about one habit or mindset that no longer serves you in living as a child of light. Write down your commitment to leave it behind and ‘put on’ the armor of light.
