SHINING YOUR LIGHT TO OTHERS
Hey Beautiful Soul, Light Up!
FOCAL VERSE:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14 (NIV)
DEEP REFLECTION:
As believers, we are called to be lights in this world. Christ, the Light of the World, has entrusted us with His light so that we may shine in places of darkness. This light is not only meant for our own lives but to bring hope, love, and truth to those around us. When we reflect Christ’s light, we illuminate paths for others, helping them see God’s grace, love, and salvation. No matter how small your light may seem, it holds the power to change atmospheres and hearts.
This week, let your actions, words, and love be a reflection of the light within you. Don’t hide your light; let it shine brightly for all to see!
SOUL PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for calling me to be a light in this world. Help me to shine brightly, even in difficult times, and to reflect Your love and truth to everyone I meet. May my life bring glory to Your name and guide others toward You. Amen.
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
This week, find one person or situation where you can be a light. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or offering encouragement, shine the light of Christ to someone in need.
READING PLAN:
Monday: Matthew 5:14-16 - Write down areas where you feel called to shine brighter. Ask God for the courage to step into these areas.
Tuesday: Philippians 2:15 - Think about how your attitude and behavior reflect Christ’s light. Journal about any areas of your life where this light could shine more brightly.
Wednesday: John 8:12 - How has Christ’s light guided you through dark times? Write a short testimony of His guidance.
Thursday: Isaiah 60:1 - Reflect on the command to “arise and shine.” What’s holding you back from fully stepping into God’s call?
Friday: Ephesians 5:8-9 - Consider how you can live more fully as a “child of light.” Write a prayer committing to walk in God’s light this week.
