THE TRUTH IS LIGHT
FOCAL VERSE
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32 NLT
DEEP REFLECTION
Truth means a genuine depiction or statement of reality. It is amazing how darkness has clouded our lives to the point where we barely recognize the truth these days. However, the truth of our reality is found in the light — Jesus.
Jesus spoke to the people again and said,
"I am the light of the world.
If you follow me,
you won't have to walk in darkness because
you will have the light that leads to life."
Jesus is the light of the world, and as his believers, we reflect his glory to all people. The light of God helps us stay true to others and ourselves. Therefore, God helps us to remain in His light, just like Jesus on earth.
The truth makes you shine and not hide as if you do not matter. The darkness is too deep to keep us within, which is why you need to light up. His lovely light is all we need. He is the truth indeed.
SOUL PRAYER
Dear Lord, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your light and truth in my life. I acknowledge that Jesus is the light of the world, and through Him, I can walk in the light that leads to life. Lord, help me to reflect Your glory and shine Your light on everyone around me. Lord, guide me to discover my true purpose and meaning in You. Remind me daily that I am not ordinary but a beautiful soul chosen by You to light up the world. Help me to embrace my true self through Jesus, who is the light.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
Have you ever wondered why the truth is difficult to tell? The truth we say is bitter. The truth is, you are the chosen of God to light up your world just like Christ. Darkness makes you feel worthless, but you are created for more and that is the “truth”. Your life has a purpose and a meaning. You are not an ordinary, beautiful soul. You only need to discover yourself through Jesus, who is the light, so you can embrace your true self. Be intentional!
Hey, beautiful soul, staying in the truth of God is very necessary.

MONDAY: John 8:12 - Reflect on how Jesus’ light guides you through darkness and write down any insights or areas where you need His light.
TUESDAY: Psalm 119:105 - Think about areas in your life where you seek guidance and write down practical steps to follow God’s guidance this week.

FRIDAY: 1 John 1:7 - Think about your relationships and how you can strengthen fellowship with others and write down one way to enhance your fellowship with someone in your community today.
