PLEA FOR MERCY

(A personalized prayer according to Psalm 30)

My Father, My Lord and my King.
I exalt you!
I give you all the glory and and give you all the praise.
You are my hiding place and safe refuge.
With you I am safe and sound.
You always rescue me and I am eternally grateful for your hand that reaches out to me just to keep me alive and well.

I have no one else but you.
You are my anchor and my only hope.
My helper and my keeper.
My present help in times of need.
You have not allowed my enemies to have a big laugh.
I have not been consumed by struggles and challenges.
My enemies keep watching, plotting and conspiring.
Yet, you continuously keep me from falling.
You honor me daily with truimph.
Hallelujah!

Oh Lord, I cry out to you.
Restore me oh sweet Holy Spirit.
Restore my soul and body.
Restore my heart for service.
Restore my relationship with you.
Restore my joy, peace and hope.
Restore my health, my business, my family, my marriage and everything I have lost that I know or do not know.
Restore me for your glory.
Hallelujah!

I stand in the gap for my family, my friends and loved ones.
Restore their spiritual lives.
Restore their relationship with you.
Restore their health, relationships, finances and everything they have lost for your glory and bring them peace.
Hallelujah!

Rescue me from any pit designed to trap me and hide me from my breakthrough.
I rebuke the power of death over my life.
I rebuke the power of sin, darknesses, shame, fears, anxieties, uncertainty and anything that holds me down.
Keep me and Lift me up O Lord.

Because you are Holy, you call me holy.
Because you are Merciful, I have found pardon.
I praise you O lifter up of my head.
Mighty man of war.
The everlasting King.
The great I am.
I celebrate and bless your holy name.
I praise you for you are my everything.
In you I’m found.
In you I’m safe.
Hallelujah.

You have chosen to accept and forgive me.
I don’t always do what is right and acceptable before your sight.
My actions and inactions are filled with mistakes, flaws and misdeeds but I have been covered by the blood.
O my Lord! Your anger is but for a moment and your favor is for a lifetime.
Indeed, I am favored for the rest of my life.

There are days I cry myself to sleep.
There are times that are hard.
There are seasons beyond my control.
But your grace sustains me.

I thank you for drying my tears.
Your favor assures me that Joy cometh.
Therefore, I declare that Joy cometh now in this season of my life.
I celebrate you because you have brought an end to my pain and suffering.
Hallelujah my morning is here!

Keep me alive O Precious Savior.
I don’t want to sink into the grave.
I want to praise you more than enough while I live.
I want to tell of your faithfulness.

I praise you forever.
I praise you for seeing me through.
I thank you for the healing, deliverance and breakthroughs.
I can’t stop thinking about your goodness and mercy in my life.
I’m surrounded by your riches in glory.
May your favor continue to secure me like a mountain.
It does not feel good to be shattered so I’ll stay with you forever.
Help me not to depart or turn away from your presence.
Help me to keep loving and serving at your feet all the days of my life.

Without you I am nothing!
I’m powerless, insecure, weak, miserable and broken without you.
I depend on you.
