The Best In Me

FOCAL VERSE: Genesis 1

We many a time as a people take for granted what we believe is a “usual routine” i.e. Waking up to a new morning etc. We seldom thank God for the life and new day given us. From Genesis 1, one can see the statement “And God saw that it was good” recur. The Creator made all stuff for Humanity’s benefit and progress.

From the Sun, Moon through to times and seasons, God made provisions to guide the affairs of Humans. Now, if God who created all these wondrous things says you were created in His image, then you carry a unique aura of “goodness” in you.

Additionally, God created each and everyone of us with peculiar traits and talents. These HE gave to aid us do life effectively. We have to shun the comparisons of talents, traits and rather stay grateful to God for giving us what we have. Our uniqueness testifies of His lovingkindness. All that is in us, be it our talents, creative capabilities and intelligence etc. all prove that our God cares for us. Oh what a good good God we have.

Further, It is our duty as His creatives to thank, adore and bless His name for all that we have enjoyed, attained and even lost. The Psalmist from Psalm 100:2 MSG says “Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.” Thanksgiving is an effective gratitude weapon that opens up the unimaginable. Don’t engage a close mouth but employ a mouth that sings the praises of God. If you have nothing to thank God for, appreciate Him for seeing you through the pandemics and turmoils, our Maker has been good to us.

Lastly, if we as humans do enjoy and value appreciations, how much more our Creator??@growcode_initiative

You might have failed, lost a property, a cherished relation or find your life in tatters. So sorry about that but don’t bask in these complaints. Sake them off and praise God. Thank Him for this far He has brought. We have loads to be grateful for. Get out of your comfort zone and thank your creator.

SOUL PRAYER

Dear Lord God Almighty, thank You for all You have done for us. For the seen and unseen provisions, guidances, healings, breakthroughs and many more, glory be to Your name. We have come to say thank You Abba Father, a thank You we bring. We are grateful, Amen.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE

Reflect on all achievements and failures chalked throughout the year. Thank God for the lessons and trophies won.
