YOU ARE

FOCAL VERSE:

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

Genesis‬ 2‬:7‬ NKJV

DEEP REFLECTION:

You are God’s breath; the breath of life made you a living being. You are a living being (soul) meaning; you’ve been enabled to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, live prosperously, live for ever, be quickened, be alive, be restored to life or health.

The soul is made up of the emotion, mind and will. The soul is symbolic to the soil. The kind of seeds (thoughts) we plant is affected by the quality of nutrients (feelings) we feed the soil. Also, the environment (external factors) affects the condition/nature (heart) of soil (soul). Whatever springs out of the soil is either good or bad are based on all these variables.

Simply put, who we turn out to be depends on our soil (soul) but there are several factors that affect our growth. The condition of our hearts, the way we think, feel and the environment we live truly matters.

Your soul is the portal to live life. Your soul is designed to connect to be able to function in this life. It connects us to the physical world and the spiritual world. Like the soil, your soul cannot produce anything good alone. Your soul is God’s treasury out of which He births unspeakable riches. He created us in his image and likeness thus, a manifestation of who He is on earth. You are everything He is. He works through you to live out His intentions.

The soul is what makes you, you. Who you are is embedded in your soul. You are a soul in a body. Your body only translates the instructions and expressions of the soul. Your body is not in control. You are — your soul is!

You are alive because God’s breath of life is still in your lungs. Without God’s breath; you are lifeless and thus, you will amount to nothing. However, if you are reading this today; I pray that the breath of life will be activated in you to make your life meaningful.

SOUL PRAYER:

O Lord, my God. You are the source of my life. I am nothing without you. I thank you for your breath of life which has made me unique thus, I am a divine masterpiece, a special piece of your manifold imagination- a revelation of your majesty, sovereignty, glory, ingenuity and mystery. On this day, I make my like available to you! In Jesus name. Amen.
