BEING GENEROUS

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 13

FOCAL VERSE:

“The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.”- Genesis‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

Remember when Lot and Abraham had to divide the land, and Lot chose the fertile portion, leaving the less desirable land for Abraham? If we were in Abraham’s place, we might have fought to claim the better land. But look at his generosity—he accepted what was left, and God transformed it into fertile ground, producing abundance.

God is not like man; He never fails. He provides for all who trust in Him.

PRAYER POINTS:

Pray for a generous heart, trusting God’s promises.

Pray for discernment in relationships.

Ask for vision to see God’s direction.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

Evaluate if there are relationships you need to let go of to grow spiritually.

Perform an act of generosity without expecting anything in return.
