CARRIERS OF HIS PRESENCE

FOCAL VERSE:

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” – ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

As we close September and step into October, God is reminding us that His presence is not a place we visit — it’s a reality we carry. The shift from “seeking” to “hosting” His glory is the invitation before us. We are not running in and out of temples; we are the temples.

September stretched us to think differently. October calls us to live differently. Every word we speak, every step we take, every thought we entertain becomes an altar that either reflects His glory or dims it.

This week, let’s learn to pause, to breathe, to whisper: “I carry Him.” Not just in church gatherings, but in ordinary moments — in conversations, at work, even in our waiting.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

Each day, place your hand on your chest and declare:

“Christ lives in me. I am a carrier of His glory.”

Write one moment daily where you saw His presence shaping your actions.

SOUL PRAYER:

Lord, anchor me in the reality that You dwell within me. Teach me to honor Your presence not in bursts, but in every breath. Let my life be proof that glory can rest in human vessels. Amen.

READING PLAN:

Monday: Psalm 34:5 – As September closes, let this be your testimony: God’s presence makes you radiant. What you’ve gained this month will shine into the next.

Tuesday: Isaiah 26:3 – How has God steadied your mind this past month? Write down one lesson you’re carrying into October.

Wednesday: 1 Corinthians 3:16 – Welcome to October. You are not empty — you’re a living temple. Carry this awareness everywhere you go today.

Thursday: Colossians 1:27 – Sit in silence for 10 minutes. As you breathe, repeat: “Hope lives in me.” Let that truth sink deeper than your worries.

Friday: Matthew 5:14 – Where did your light shine this week — in words, actions, or quiet presence? Note it down and thank God for using you.
