WHEN GOD BECOMES HOME

Hey Beautiful Soul, Come Up Higher!

FOCAL VERSE:

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” ‭- Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

There’s a place beyond prayer routines and church services – it’s called home with God. Divine intimacy isn’t built in a day; it’s nurtured in stillness, tears, whispered prayers, silent walks, journal pages, and honest conversations.

The closer we draw, the more we realize intimacy is less about knowing the rulets and more about knowing the heart. God doesn’t just want to be your Father — He wants to be your dwelling place.

In the world of chaos, hustle, and curated perfection, the deepest form of rest is found in His presence. To “dwell” means to remain, to make Him your everyday address. This week, come back to the simple truth, God misses you when you’re distant.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

Take 10 minutes daily in complete stillness. No music. No phone. Just sit, breathe, and say, “Father, I’m here.” Let that silence teach you how to dwell.

SOUL PRAYER:

Abba Father, help me unlearn distance and rediscover You as home. Strip away the noise and teach my soul to rest in Your nearness. Not just on Sundays. Not just in crisis. But daily, hourly…always. I want to dwell, not visit. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

READING PLAN:

Monday: Psalm 84:2 – God’s presence is not a distant place — it’s the longing of a soul that knows where it belongs.

Tuesday: John 15:4 – What part of your life feels disconnected from God right now?

Wednesday: Exodus 33:14 – Take a slow walk today without your phone. Speak to God as you would a close friend beside you.

Thursday: James 4:8 – Every step toward God is an answered invitation. He’s already reaching for you.

Friday: Matthew 11:28 – What weight are you carrying this week that you haven’t placed in God’s hands yet?

This a is a GROWcode_ initiative in partnership with Jesus Christ. Stay connected to grow. Much love.
