Hey Beautiful Soul
Take a pause and praise the Lord.
He deserves your praise. Hallelujah!

FOCAL VERSE:
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?
Ps 121:1 NKJV

REFLECTION:
The tendency of fixing the challenges we face daily can make us lose sight of the blessedness we have. Our verse for today challenges us to lift up our eyes (Focus).

What do you find yourself focused on most of the time?

I have this funny habit of looking up whenever I’m trying to remember something important or maybe when I’m trying to keep things under control. I just find myself rolling my eyes up. I actually didn’t know exactly why but I realized that it helps me to focus quite well and it seems to just work like magic you know. Hahaha!
I think you can somewhat relate to an extent right?

Giving God thanks during “difficult times” might be the last thing that may ever cross our minds. However, I believe our DEEPEST THANKSGIVING is the ability to acknowledge God through it all; both the good and bad occurrences.

For me, God has helped me through my scholarship issues to multiple favors. I mean, things are not all perfect but I have so so so much to be grateful for. I believe that the fact that you made it to this day signifies that you are a living breathing miracle. This can only be the doing of the COVENANT KEEPING GOD.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
How do you practice focus by the way?
Even though my way might not be super cute; I’ll just like you to give it a try. Intentionally, look up for a moment. Just try to imagine that there’s a hill or anything much higher right in front of you that you are trying to look up to.
Do this with the aim of focusing on how greater our Father is than the things present in your life; casting down any imaginations and circumstances that have been trying to exalt themselves above God. Look up and reflect deeply to acknowledge the HELP you have received all through this year to this present day. Then, take a pause and praise the Lord.

All through the day ; remember to look up and give God a big smile.

INTENTIONAL THANKSGIVING:
Covenant keeping God!
I thank you for the opportunity to look up to you.
And I thank you for being my present help in times of need.
I am also sorry for the times I exalted my circumstances above you.
All through this year, you have been helpful and you have kept me through it all.
I would not have made it this far without you.
I am a living breathing miracle only because you made it possible.
I thank you that I still have a reason to smile.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glory to your holy name.
Thank you Lord!

Thank you very much for such a beautiful sharing, I have just discovered now that fixing and looking unto Jesus is the most important thing that matters more especially when facing life challenges.
