YET WILL I TRUST YOU!

FOCAL VERSE:

“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him.”
‭‭Job‬ ‭13:15‬ ‭KJV

DEEP REFLECTION:

One of the greatest lessons I have personally learnt in life is the need to identify seasons and times. It makes you wiser and stronger. I have realized that the end of a season is as important as the beginning of another.

Usually, during the end of a season our character for the next season is tested. Sometimes, everything seems chaotic with strange winds because change is about to occur. In such seasons, we are presented with opportunities and challenges that will build and equip us to qualify for us the next season.

However, we are mostly unable to identify them as such because it is not pleasant to us and it does not make sense either. We tend to complain, grumble, react and even question God’s existence in that current situation. Forgetting that the God of the mountain is still God in the valley; the God of the bad times is still God in the good times — God of the day is still God in the night. He’s a big GOD and He’s always with us and our side no matter what happens.

Every challenge that presents itself is an opportunity to be better and an avenue for God’s glory. We need to seek grace to see through the eyes of faith. As believers, we need to consciously walk by faith and not by the sight of our current circumstances.

Our consistent prayers in these times will help us to view life from God’s perspective. It will also conform us to His perfect will concerning us.

We are not only God’s children, we are His testament here on earth. Therefore, everything concerning us is very important to Him. Every assignment and purpose has a character and personality for it’s execution. In effect, our character transformation is more important for our advancement and increase from one disposition to another.

God does not take pleasure in withholding our blessings. Our life on earth is beyond our mere survival and our basic needs. He values building and training us to be able to handle and multiply whatever He has already blessed us with. Sometimes, the challenges open our eyes to identify who we truly are and enables us to comprehend how blessed we are.

Always remember that every single challenge is an opportunity to know and experience God in a different dimension like never before. This helps us to stay grounded in His love for us and opens us up for more spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.

Hey Beautiful Soul, anytime you are faced with a challenge count it all joy and be encouraged to affirm your trust in God just like Job did.

SOUL PRAYER:

I will trust in you O Lord in all seasons.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
