DEEP REFLECTION
Presently, many a people know popular award schemes such as the Grammys, Ballon D’or, Olympians and Nobel Prize etc. These awards came in to celebrate and reward excelling individuals per their fronts. These appreciative gesture towards excelling individuals per their fronts is often celebrated globally. Some even have great a fan base who sweetly put out their achievements for masses to celebrate. See, appreciation is a known “energiser” for more. The better you appreciate someone, the excellent they will become. Just as the psalmist said “ a thank you opens room for more”.
In as much as it isn’t wrong to celebrate our achievements or that of humans who excel within their diverse industries, we likewise have to appreciate our MAKER, God. We can never achieve anything without life. Thus, if you have life it doesn’t hurt appreciating the giver. You can appreciate God in your own way. However, it is worth noting God looks at the heart pouring out words and not just the words. You have to mean everything you say.
More, in an era where we enjoy always asking from God, it is time we adorn ourselves with thanksgiving garments towards our maker. You thanking God benefits your being too. His word clarifies He inhabits the praises of his people. So you praising/thanking God opens up an aura of His presence all over you. His aura makes all things new, never going stale and keeps you flourishing .
Wrapping up, our appreciations should not only be “big wins” but rather include all. From waking up from sleep, safe journey’s, physical growth, finances, great health etc. It doesn’t hurt spending time in God’s presence appreciating Him for all done for you. The manner in which we blush and giggle when our love ones extend appreciate gestures towards us do tell us how God enjoys our appreciations too. One thing He can’t do for Himself is to praise/thank Himself. So you doing that open the heavens all around you.
