INVOLVE GOD IN DECISION MAKING

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 24 : 1 – 9

FOCAL VERSE:

““The Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give this land’—he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.”‭‭- Genesis‬ ‭24‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

DEEP REFLECTION:

Decision-making can be challenging, especially when it requires sacrificing time with family or yourself. In Genesis 24:1-9, Abraham recognized the importance of finding a wife for his son. It was a weighty decision—what if his son and the woman had no connection?

Yet, because of his deep trust in God, he believed that God would orchestrate everything for good.

PRAYER POINTS:

Pray for God’s direction in every decision you make.

Pray for the wisdom to align your choices with His Word.

Pray for the strength to make the right decisions.

INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:

List your plans, assess their importance, and prioritize the most essential ones.

Seek God’s guidance as you make your decisions.
