FINISHING WELL

SCRIPTURE READING: Genesis 25:1-11
FOCAL VERSE:
“Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.” – Genesis 25:8 (NIV)
DEEP REFLECTION:
As we close our 21-day journey, we reflect on Abraham’s final chapter. His life was marked by faith, obedience, and perseverance, and in Genesis 25:1-11, we see him finishing well. He lived to a ripe old age, full of years and experiences, and left behind a legacy of faith that shaped generations to come.
Abraham’s story reminds us that finishing well is about more than just longevity—it’s about faithfulness. His trust in God never wavered, and even after his passing, God’s promises continued through Isaac. We, too, must strive to finish our race with unwavering faith, knowing that what we do for God extends beyond our lifetime.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray for endurance to finish well in every aspect of life.
Ask God to renew your strength when the journey becomes exhausting.
Pray for a steadfast heart that remains committed to God’s call.
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
Write down one goal or calling you feel weary about and pray for renewed strength.
Encourage someone who seems discouraged to keep pushing through.
