HERE I AM, LORD

Hey Beautiful Soul, Come Up Higher!
FOCAL VERSE:
“Then in my dream, the angel of God said to me, ‘Jacob!’ And I replied, ‘Yes, here I am.’”- Genesis 31:11 NLT
DEEP REFLECTION:
God wants us to be with him at all times. Not just our presence but with our minds and hearts. He wants us to listen or see what he has for us. He loves us and cares about us, for that reason, we need to be always in His humble presence.
For times we thought we will be counted as ancestors but we are still counted part of the living. Not just working for God through the spread of the Gospel or with activities in the temple, but putting His word into practice makes him feel happy about us. We do that and prove the word of God in us.
The word is God and we abide in him making Him abide in us – that is the availability.
PROPHETIC PROMPT:
What parts of me have been available to God and what parts have not?
When God calls, what is my most honest response?
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
God needs us. We are his flock of sheep, directing and helping us on the way to go. Without Him, our ways will lead to destructions. God does not discriminate; with potentials or not, God is love to accept us all. Let us avail ourselves for God to speak and reveal his treasures to us.
- SACRED STILLNESS:
In 5 minutes of silence, close your eyes and think deeply on how God has made you sail through with life, even in difficult times. Appreciate him by singing praises to Him and telling Him you are available for His work.
2. JOURNALING PROMPT:
Pen down whatever the Lord has laid on your heart. Forget the grammatical errors until you are through with pouring everything down. Take a deep breathe, correct them and read to your heart. End with “here I am, Lord”.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
God, thank you for accepting us for who we are. Our prayer is to help us draw closer to you and show availability at any time. Help us to get ourselves ready for you. Thank you for an answered prayer. Through our saviour Jesus’ name, we have prayed. Amen
SCRIPTURES FOR MEDITATION:
Romans 8 vrs 38 (NLT)
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”
1 Chronicles 29 vrs 17 (NLT)
“I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.”
