DWELLING IN THE SECRET PLACE

FOCAL VERSE:
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psalm 91:1 NKJV
DEEP REFLECTION:
Divine intimacy is not an event but a continuous dwelling. It is an intentional positioning of our hearts to seek God beyond surface-level encounters. In Psalm 91:1, the word dwell suggests permanence—not a fleeting visit, but a conscious decision to remain in God’s presence.
Many desire the benefits of divine intimacy—peace, wisdom, protection—but few cultivate the discipline to dwell. Jesus modeled this life, often retreating to solitary places to commune with the Father. In doing so, He walked in alignment with heaven’s agenda.
This week, the Lord calls us higher, beyond routine prayers and hurried devotions, into a deeper fellowship where our hearts beat with His. Will you respond?
INTENTIONAL EXERCISE:
– Set aside a fixed time daily for uninterrupted communion with God.
– Journal any insights, convictions, or impressions you receive in His presence.
SOUL PRAYER:
Father, draw me into deeper intimacy with You. Teach me to dwell in Your presence, to seek You not just for what You can do, but for who You are. Let my heart burn with love for You. Amen.
DIG DEEP READING PLAN:
Monday: Psalm 27:4 – Write down what truly matters to you. Is seeking God a priority? Ask the Holy Spirit to shift your desires toward deeper intimacy with Him.
Tuesday: John 15:4-5 – Reflect on areas where you may have been disconnected from God. What practical steps can you take to remain connected to Him daily?
Wednesday: James 4:8 – Identify distractions that pull you away from God’s presence. What do you need to let go of to draw closer to Him?
Thursday: Exodus 33:11 – Spend at least 10 minutes in stillness before God today. No requests—just listen. Journal what you sense He is saying.
Friday: Matthew 6:6 – Create a ‘secret place’—a designated time and space for your personal communion with God. Write a commitment to prioritize this time daily.
This is a GROWcode_ initiative in partnership with Jesus Christ. Stay connected to grow. Much love.
